| MUMBAI:
Zee Network UK has appointed digital television business specialists Canis Media
to handle the sale of Zee Radio's assets. As
reported earlier in Indiantelevision.com, Zee Radio will stop broadcasting from
30 April. The
sale mandate includes an AM analogue licence for 6 hours per day through Spectrum
Radio, a London DAB licence, a place on the Sky Digital EPG, a DTH (direct-to-home)
satellite radio channel and an online radio streaming website. The
assets will be sold individually or as a package wherein the selling process is
expected to get completed within four weeks. Zee
Network UK and Europe head Govind Shahi was not available for comment. Also
