MUMBAI: OnMobile has partnered with Vodafone to provide ringback tones, voice portals and speech-enabled services.

The deal enables the mobile operator and other partner networks to install products and services offered by OnMobile worldwide.

"Speech recognition-based Vas has been successful in the emerging market across Asia. With our French acquisition, Telisma, new language models required for Vodafone's operations in emerging markets will be rapidly developed and deployed," says OnMobile Global CEO and co-founder Arvind Rao.

"We are happy to partner with Vodafone and extend our VAS partnership from India into new markets globally with them," adds Rao.

OnMobile, a value-added service provider, currently provides speech-enabled applications in 18 Indian and international languages.
