Hindi general entertainment channel Star Plus has partnered with Shah Rukh Khan's
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as co-sponsor for the IPL franchisee. As
part of the sponsorship deal, KKR players will have the Star Plus logo displayed
on the back of their T-shirts during the matches. Says
Star Plus EVP and GM Keertan Adyanthaya, "Star Plus and Shah Rukh Khan have
had a long-standing association with each other. It is indeed a pleasure to have
the Kolkata Knight Riders team wear T-shirts with our logo as they endeavour to
win the IPL." Earlier,
the duo had come together for the game shows Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2006 and
Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Se Tez Hai in 2008. Also
