MUMBAI: Faced with financial woes, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sought the advice of fomer International Cricket Council (ICC) president Ehsan Mani to help its management on the tender process for the sell of television telecast rights.

PCB will sell the rights for the period 2009-10 after its contract with Ten Sports as the broadcast partner expires.

For the PCB, this has been a difficult year with Australia pulling out of a tour expressing security concerns. The ICC Champions Trophy was also deferred to next year due to the same reason.

Pakistan has hosted two ODI series against Bangladesh and Zimbabwe while also hosting the Asia Cup.

India tours Pakistan early next year.

Mani, however, is confident that even in the prevailing conditions PCB could get the full market value for their home series. This is subject to a universal condition - that broadcasters will not pay anything in case of any team pulling out from any series.

Earlier this week, the PCB signed a Rs 750 million with Dubai Sports City for three years. Pakistan will play Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in a tri series next year in this new venue. The stadium in Dubai is likely to be completed in February 2009.
