Taking ahead its series of syndication deals with broadcasters,
Eros International has signed a multi-film content licensing
deal with Star TV.
The
deal encompasses a selection of movies from Eros' library
of over 1900 titles, including Salman Khan's Tere Naam

Eros
International president distribution Pranab Kapadia said,
"This is just the beginning of a great relationship between
Eros and Star, which are both leading players in the Indian
entertainment domain. We look forward to working together
more closely."
The

is growing at over 22 per cent CAGR and is slated to be worth
over $15 billion by 2012.

networks being film-based, Eros expects to see significant
growth in TV syndication," Kapadia added.

International had earlier announced a syndication deal with
Multi Screen Media (formerly Sony Entertainment Television
India) for 16 new films including current blockbusters from
last year such as Om Shanti Om and Heyy Babyy.
The deal is restricted to only the first and third airing.
