MUMBAI:
Animal Planet will air the show My Daddy the Crocodile
Hunter on 9 November 2008 at 8 pm.
The
show will be hosted by Bindi Irwin, who is carrying on the
legacy of her father - famed naturalist Steve Irwin, better
known as The Crocodile Hunter who died in 2006.
Discovery
Asia-Pacific senior VP, GM India Rahul Johri says, We
are delighted to present My Daddy the Crocodile Hunter
a tribute by Bindi Irwin to her legendry father Steve Irwin.
Besides capturing the father-daughter relationship, the show
portrays Steve Irwins vision, dedication and care for
wildlife.
In
this show, Bindi shares anecdotes about how her dad taught
her everything she needed to know about wildlife. The show
captures never-seen-before footage of one of Steves
last crocodile research adventure in August 2006 with Bindi
assisting in some of the most amazing crocodile captures and
wildlife experiences in the Australian outback.
Bindi, who has grown up surrounded by animals, lives on the
grounds of the Australia Zoo that Steve Irwins family
founded in Queensland. She is fast following in her parents
footsteps as an ardent animal and nature lover.
