DELHI: HBO will premiere Academy Award winning film Dreamgirls on 10 May.
Starring
Jamie Foxx, Beyonce Knowles and Eddie Murphy, the film is set in the turbulent
early 60s to mid 70s. Dreamgirls follows the rise and fall of a trio of
women who have formed a promising girl group. This
month HBO will also premiere Shooter, Perfect Stranger, Fire Serpent and Happy
Feet. Mark
Wahlberg, Michael Pena, Danny Glover and Kate Mara starrer Shooter is on
17 May. Perfect
Stranger will air on 24 May and includes the star-cast of Halle Berry and
Bruce Willis.
The
Academy Award winning animated family Happy Feet will
air on 29 May at 9 pm.
Action
adventure thriller Fire Serpent, which is about a massive
fireball from the sun that strikes Earth, will telecast on
31 May. The star-cast includes Lisa Langlois, Robert Beltran
and Marco Bianco.
