MUMBAI:
Ten Sports is all set to air the International Hockey Federation’s
(FIH) premier annual event - Samsung Women’s Hockey Champions
Trophy. Ten Sports will air the event live from Monchengladbach
Germany starting 17 to 25 May.
The
Champions Trophy features the world’s top ranked teams
competing in a round-robin format with the teams advancing
to final classification games.
The
six teams in fray for the top honours this year are Australia;
Argentina; China; Germany; Japan and defending champions Netherlands.
Also
with the Beijing Olympics just round the corner, the tournament
assumes added importance for the teams.
The
final will be played on Sunday, 25 May at 6.30 pm.
