NGC HD launches in Austria, Swizerland Team

MUMBAI: National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) has further expanded its reach with the launch of National Geographic Channel HD (NGC HD) in Austria and Switzerland.

NGC HD will be available through the UPV digital cable TV networks in both countries.


NGCI CEO David Haslingden says, “We are extremely pleased that our viewers in Austria and Switzerland will now be able to experience the fascinating world of NGC HD. With the addition of NGC HD in Austria and Switzerland, NGCI continues to strengthen its brand throughout Europe. The core channel is available via cable, satellite and IPTV, accounting to more than one million subscribers in Austria and Switzerland alone.

NGC HD is available in territories around the world including the US, UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Canada, Singapore, Japan, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, Denmark, Austria and Switzerland with further expansion expected globally.
