Big Music, part of the Reliance ADAG has re-released Kaifiyat
… a state of mind as a tribute to Kaifi Azmi on his 6th
death anniversary. Priced at Rs 199, the audio album is a
collection of Urdu poems recited by Kaifi Azmi.
Kaifiyat,
was originally released eight years ago, and is being re-released
in a premium pack.

Azmi said, “Kaifiyat is a very precious album because
it has abba’s best poems recited in his own voice. It
is truly archival material and is doubly significant because
it’s being released on his 6th death anniversary. Abba’s
poetry has a rare combination of being revolutionary and romantic.
My favorites are aurat and makaan.”
