MUMBAI:
Global satellite operator Intelsat has announced that Kurt
Riegelman is its SVP of global sales.
Tobias Nassif is VP of satellite operations and engineering.
Riegelman
is responsible for all of Intelsats sales activities
around the world, which include providing video, network and
managed telecommunications solutions to businesses in approximately
200 countries and territories.
As
Intelsats former SVP, American sales, Riegelman successfully
led his teams through the challenges of integrating two global
sales forces and delivered well in excess of the companys
revenue targets in the first year of combined operations.
Riegelman brings more than 15 years of experience in the satellite
industry to his new position.
Nassif
is responsible for all aspects of operations and engineering
of Intelsat's global satellite fleet and for operating the
satellites of third-party customers.
A
former officer in the US Navy and professor of computer science,
Nassif most recently served as the senior director of Intelsats
Long Beach Satellite Operations Center, which serves as the
"hot backup" to Intelsats East Coast Satellite
Control Center in Washington, D.C. and is the primary control
centre for Intelsats third-party satellite operations
functions.
Nassif
has 13 years of experience in the satellite industry.
