MUMBAI:
Television format creator and distributor FremantleMedia Enterprises
(FME) has announced that its home entertainment division has
entered into a deal with digital entertainment download store
Coolroom.
Following
this, titles from FMEs back catalogue will now be accessible
throughout Coolroom, sitting side by side with feature films,
music and kids shows.
Episodes
from series such as Dangermouse, Baywatch and
Bless this House, along with specials featuring comic
icons like Tommy Cooper and old-school shows like Carry
On Christmas and new programming, including Live From
Abbey Road and Prehistoric Park, will be available
on Coolrooms website and bespoke IPTV channel across
Microsoft Media Center, allowing viewers to enjoy whenever
they choose.
Titles
will be available to own and rent from £0.99.
Consumers
with Windows XP or Vista PCs can view Coolroom through Media
Center and ultimately enjoy FMEs content from the comfort
of their sofa on TV via a remote controlled home entertainment
centre.
