MUMBAI: UTV's global film channel World Movies is presenting Thrillers Above the Ordinary this month.

Thrillers Above the Ordinary which airs from Monday to Friday at 11 pm, includes contemporary, entertaining, box-office hits from around the globe whose aim is to make its viewers sit on the edge of their seats.

UTV Entertainment Television COO Dilshad Master says, "We have thriller movies from all over the world that will leave you breathless. These are commercial successes that have made it to film festivals and boast of an all-star cast to watch out for."

One of the films that will air is the Japanese film Fried Dragon Fish. A dragon fish has been stolen by mafia guy Tetsu Tobiyama, and biologist Thomas Earwing seeks its return since the Super-Red variety is worth 10 million yen. The authorities are clueless. Where is this dragon fish?

Russian film Saint Clara will also feature. The film is a fantasy set in a remote, industrial town in Israel. Clara, a 13-year-old, enjoys supernatural powers for several days - powers which bring her entire town to the brink of chaos and anarchy. But just when Clara is elevated to sainthood, she is forced to choose between keeping her super-powers or experiencing first love.

The nihilistic French film 13 Tzameti also airs this month. The film follows French Sebastian who has decided to follow instructions intended for someone else, without knowing where they will take him. His journey leads him to a place behind closed doors in which men gamble on the lives of other men.
