MUMBAI:
Interactive TV show maker 2waytraffic has agreed to a £1.08-per-share
cash offer from Sony Pictures Entertainments (SPE) 2JS
Productions unit.
The
Dutch company makes shows like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
The board has recommended the offer to its shareholders.
SPE
chairman and CEO Michael Lynton says that if it gets 2waytraffic
it would have the opportunity to expand access to new content,
and increase interactive and distribution capabilities around
the world.
SPE
already distributes formats like Power of 10, Jeopardy
and Wheel of Fortune.
