MUMBAI:
National Geographic Channels International (NGCI) has elevated
Stephen Hunter to VP production.
Hunter
was most recently serving as senior executive producer for
NGCI.
NGCI
executive VP content Sydney Suissa says, “Since joining
NGCI in 2007, Stephen has shown great skill in spearheading
some of our most important programming. His creative instincts
and along with his leadership have made him an invaluable
asset to the NGCI family“.
In
addition to maintaining his current responsibilities as Senior
Executive Producer, Hunter will oversee the management of
production content, budgets and deliverables, supporting the
demands of the NGCI core channel and the rapidly growing portfolio
of new channels. He will continue to forge partnerships with
the production communities to identify novel ways to enhance
the NGCI channel brands .
Hunter
has played an instrumental role in the success of priority
NGCI series and specials including Air Crash Investigation
and Megastructures, along with the upcoming series Vegas Comes
to China.
