MUMBAI:
Television distributor Granada International has announced
that Nadine Nohr has decided to step down as its MD.
Nohr,
who was appointed chair of international development charity
Every Child in January 2008, has decided to leave ITV to concentrate
on other challenges, after a long and successful career at
the broadcaster.
During
her time at ITV, she has successfully led four mergers, achieving
growth in revenue, international expansion of the company
and investment in independent production.
Nohr
said, I have had a wonderful experience working with
ITV and Granada International, and I would like to thank my
past and present colleagues for the invaluable contribution
they have made to the business and to me personally.
Nohr
has agreed to stay on for three months as a consultant to
help with a smooth transition.
ITV
MD of global content Dawn Airey said, "Nadine
is a class act a superb negotiator, excellent leader
and valued colleague and friend. She has been a key architect
in establishing our distribution business as an internationally
renowned and respected brand. ITV owes her a huge debt of
gratitude for many years of diligent service.
"She
will be sorely missed by colleagues and clients worldwide,
and we wish her all the best in her next big adventure, and
hope that we will have the chance to work together again in
the future.
