MUMBAI: Apple Inc. has announced the availability of television programmes at the iTunes Store in Australia.

These programmes are from: the Australian Broadcasting Corporation; Seven Network and Nine Network; The Walt Disney Company's ABC Studios; Disney Channel; and MTV Networks.

Apple's VP of iTunes Eddy Cue said, "Customers in Australia will love being able to watch these shows on their computer, iPod or on a widescreen TV with Apple TV."

Television shows are priced at A$ 2.99 per episode on the iTunes Store in Australia.

The shows available for download include:

• Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Lost and Scrubs from ABC Studios.

• Summer Heights High, We Can Be Heroes, Double the Fist, Foreign Correspondent Postcards, Sleek Geeks and Surfing the Menu from Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

• Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Cory in the House from Disney Channel.

• Canal Road, McLeod's Daughters, Sea Patrol, Urban Magic from Nine Network.

• Blue's Clues, Laguna Beach, My Super Sweet Sixteen, South Park and Pimp My Ride from MTV Network.
