MUMBAI: After five months of launch in India, Hindi general entertainment channel NDTV Imagine has hit the Middle East and North African (MENA) region. NDTV Imagine will be available free-to-air (FTA) through Pehla’s channel number 61.

NDTV Imagine EVP revenue management and new ventures Harsh Rohatgi said, “We see a lot of potential for a complete family entertainment channel like ours, in this region. We have received a lot of positive feedback and plenty of requests to make the channel available in key international markets.”

Apart from Pehla, NDTV Imagine will shortly be available on evision and other cable networks of MENA.

NDTV group has also launched NDTV Arabia in the Middle East last year. NDTV Arabia was launched in October 2007 and enjoys good response, claims a company release.
