Sun TV Network has launched two FM radio stations at Gulbarga and Asansol, through
its subsidiaries Kal Radio and South Asia FM respectively. With
the launch of the FM station at Gulbarga, Kal Radio will complete the launch of
all the radio stations that it had licensed for. And South Asia FM has completed
the launch of 18 stations out of the 23 licenses it has bagged.
SFM
is already operational in Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Visakhapatnam, Bangalore,
Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Tirupati, Madurai, Tuticorin, Lucknow, Bhopal,
Pondicherry, Kozhikode (Calicut), Indore, Vijayawada, Varanasi, Tiruchy, Rajahmundry,
Kanpur, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Mangalore, Kannur, Allahabad, Jabalpur,
Mysore, Guwahati, Jamshedpur, Nasik, Vadodara, Rajkot, Aurangabad, Ahmedabad,
Warangal, Nagpur and Kochi. The
network holds license for 45 FM radio stations and will utilise all the licenses
after it completes launching 5 more stations. |
