MUMBAI: 7Seas Technologies, a Hyderabad-based independent IP-based game developing company, has launched seven 3D mobile games globally across genres including puzzle, action, adventure and racing.

The games include 3D Sudoku and Planets of Sudoku 3D (puzzle), Neetu - The Alien Killer and Great Elude (action), Treasure Trove3D (adventure), and Derby 3D and Kraze (racing).

Of these, the racing games - Derby3D and Kraze - are both single and multi player. Great Elude, Planets of Sudoku 3D and Derby 3D are multi-lingual and are available in English, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish and German.

"We have put in a lot of effort and investment of $1 million to develop these games for worldwide gamers. It took around 18 months for us to develop these games. With the penetration of high-end mobile handsets that support 3D mobile games increasing day by day and the prices decreasing drastically, our focus going forward would be on 3D Mobile Games," said 7Seas Technologies MD L Maruti Sanker.

The seven 3D Mobile games, targeted at high-end mobile phones like Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorola, are available through leading VAS infrastructure and services provider IMIMobile, which has over 100 mobile operator partners globally, and Telco Games of UK besides other leading online portals.

To download these games, gamers can send an SMS as 'GAMES' to 56263 through IMIMobile network. Along with the seven 3D mobile games, Ringtones and Wallpapers of the games are also available.

7Seas Technologies expects to garner around $3 million from the newly launched seven 3D mobile games in the first one year, stated an official release.

7Seas has also acquired www.neodelight.com, a Germany-based gaming portal in January 2008 along with its 33 IPs and Game engine assets.

"We are currently evaluating a couple of companies, which are into Mobile and Online games, whose technologies could add value to our existing game development capabilities. The acquisition transaction could be around $1 million, which would be funded through internal resources. We plan to close the buyout deal in next calendar year," added Sanker.
