Fox inks multi-year deals to expand base in Latin America

MUMBAI: Fox TV Studios (FTVs) has sealed multi-year deals with Argentina-based production houses, Rosstoc, Malapop and Quark, to expand its base in Latin America.

As per the deal with Rosstoc, FTVs will will produce 13 one-hour episodes of Todos Contra Juan (Everyone against Juan), a dark comedy about an actor attempting to reclaim his fame.

Also, FTVs is currently developing the script for Feo (Ugly), based on the memoir of a man who takes his life to be ugly, along with Rosstoc.

While with Malapop, FTVs will develop Perra, the studio will create Tramas (Plots) with Quark.

Perra is a drama about a poor girl who runs away from home to seek fortune in a big city. Tramas is based on a true story of bank robbery in Mexico.
