MUMBAI:
Endemol is in the process of setting up base in Turkey as
part of its global expansion plan. The UK-based production
house is already spread across 25 countries including India.
Local
broadcaster Show TV has commissioned Endemol to produce a
version of its latest gameshow format, Wipeout.
Endemol's
Turkey office will be based in Istanbul and headed by MD Ansi
Elagoz. He will take up the post next month.
Production
of Wipeout will begin in next January. The show has already
been sold to 10 countries including the US.
Show TV has previously aired Endemol's Deal or No Deal
and Strictly Dancing.
