Neeraj Roy elected vice chairman of Mobile Entertainment Forum - Asia

MUMBAI: Hungama Mobile MD & CEO Neeraj Roy has been elected as the vice chairman of the Mobile Entertainment Forum - Asia (MEF).

MEF is a global association headquartered in London with chapters across Europe, Asia and the Americas and has representation across all stakeholders in the telecom, Internet, entertainment and media industries.

Roy has also been named among the "50 most influential people in mobile entertainment" globally for the third consecutive year.

A visibly elated Roy said, "I am extremely thankful to my peers from around the world who have honoured me with this recognition for the 3rd consecutive year. We have worked very closely with the Indian film and entertainment industry towards helping them monetise their assets in the digital formats across all 3 screens, mobile, Internet and IPTV. In the coming years, this will continue to grow and indeed become the format with which entertainment and media businesses will connect with their targeted consumers."
