MAIT to hold annual conference on broadband and wireless technologies in Bangalore

BANGALORE: Manufacturers’ Association for Information Technology (MAIT) is organising the second edition of its Annual Conference & Exhibition on Broadband and Wireless Technologies - "Mobility and Wireless World 2008" on 30 January 2008 at Bangalore. MAIT is the apex body representing the interest of the IT hardware industry in India.

 

As per a MAIT release, the primary focus of the conference this year will be emerging technological trends in cellular telephony, enterprise mobility, broadband and WiMAX. The conference will also take a holistic view of the government policy framework and plans, technologies for large-scale broadband adoption, broadband services deployment models coming up in India and global best practices, public services needs for broadband, public content and applications, etc.

 

Alongside the conference, an exhibition and live demos by the wireless and telecom industry, application providers, integrators, product architects, solution providers, software developers, suppliers and service providers are also being lined up.

More than 150 senior-level representatives from various industry segments will attend the event, the release claims.
