The
new edition plans to look for u-15 and u-22 talent from more
than 1000 schools, college and sports clubs in India across
the seven cities of Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Jamshedpur,
Delhi and Bangalore in 2008.
Two
winners of the hunt will get a opportunity to be trained at
the prestigious MRF Pace Foundation through a comprehensive
training programme designed by the Australian pace bowler
Dennis Lillie.
PepsiCo
India innovation and business development executive director Sucheta Govil said,
"We are proud to extend this initiative to six cities this year as compared
to four cities in the year gone by." "We
have put together a comprehensive strategy this year using print, electronic and
online media, partnerships with leading associations and cricket clubs to take
the scientific knowledge to as many fast bowlers as possible and encourage aspiring
pacers to show-case their skills to win a training slot at MRF Pace Foundation."
