MUMBAI: Canada-based broadcaster Corus Entertainment
has announced a content distribution rights deal with
Nickelodeon.
The
deal will see Nickelodeon properties across all forms
of media and platforms this year.
Through
Corus, MTV Networks International plans to place Nickelodeon
animated television series in the hands of viewers through
multiple channels of digital distribution. It is a multi-year
broadcast partnership extension that encompasses all
digital rights for Nickelodeon and related brands. Emerging
into the digital space at break-neck speed, Corus is
looking to get a handle on multi-platform property management.
