MUMBAI: Malar Publications' Hello 106.4 FM has launched in Tiruchirappalli. The station is already available in Madurai, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, Coimbatore and Puducherry.

As part of its marketing campaign, Hello FM will distribute 1,064 gold coins to the listeners on the inaugural day. They are also planning to roll out a few mega promotional activities in the coming few months for their listeners across Tamil Nadu.

Hello FM COO Rajeev Nambiar said, "We are highly enthused to conquest the air space considering the fact that the city has had an early exposure to faint signals of FM stations from Sri Lanka. Our understanding is that the listeners here are very radio-friendly and familiar with the radio unlike the Chennaites who woke up to private FM revolution way back in 2003. The market here is ready to grab every opportunity that Hello FM has to offer. We would be focused to serve as the choicest platform to the local and national advertisers, thus giving Trichy the much-needed fill-up in the media entertainment space."
