Bay Talkitec raises $ 2.5 million from NEA-IndoUS Ventures

MUMBAI: Bay Talkitec, a media convergence solutions company for fixed line and wireless network, has declared that it has raised $ 2.5 million from venture capital firm NEA-IndoUS Ventures.

 

The company announces that this investment will enable it to deploy integrated audio and video services in the VAS segment for mobile operators in India and worldwide further, starting with South East Asia.

"This funding will help us deploy our entire field proven audio and video services in a single box and add new innovative applications, which will be our value proposition to the mobile carriers worldwide for increasing their Average Revenue Per User (ARPU)," said Bay Talkitec joint MD Arunan.

 

"Our investment and support in Bay Talkitec is to enable the company to aggressively market these products and become a global leader in convergent mobile VAS," said NEA-IndoUS Capital Advisors' MD Kumar Shiralagi.

Bay Talkitec claims of being a market leader in computer telephony applications for Indian telecom users and has more than 2,000 installations for its products, viz. interactive voice response systems, voice loggers, contact centre solutions and VAS solutions.
