MUMBAI: Satcom Networks Cable TV, a cable
TV network in Delhi, has opted for voluntary
Cas (conditional access system) and selected
Viaccess protection system to secure its
digital services.
Satcom
Networks has chosen Viaccess mainly for
security reasons. Using Viaccess' solution,
Satcom Networks will be able to deliver
premium content and compete with other TV
services.
Satcom Networks was also encouraged by the
ability of Viaccess system to be extended
to IPTV services.
