Reliance Telecom acquires licence for CDMA in Assam, North East

MUMBAI: Reliance Telecom Ltd (RTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Communications (Rcom), has got approval from the Ministry of Communications and IT to provide CDMA services under the existing Unified Access Service Licenses (UASL) for Assam and the North East regions.

 

This is in addition to existing GSM services provided by RTL in the region. The company, along with its subsidiaries, now has pan India licence to provide both CDMA and GSM services.

 
Accordingly, RTL will shortly offer CDMA services in addition to its existing GSM services in Assam and North East Service Areas.
