BANGALORE:
Vijay TV is airing its weekly interactive talk show Ipadikku
Rose (This is Rose or Yours sincerely, Rose), hosted by
a transgender, on Thursday (28 February) at 10 pm.
Rose,
the host, has a master's degree from the United States, says
a Star Vijay release.
The
new show, which has a transgender as host for the first time
ever in Indian television, will spotlight the problems that
people coming from different social strata have to face in
their day-to-day lives, and will discuss issues that have
not been openly dealt with on a public forum earlier.
Some
of the topics that will be discussed and debated in the show
include domestic violence in foreign countries; sexual harassment
in colleges; the life of models; the rise in number of divorces
among celebrities, etc. A panel of experts would be present
on the sets to throw more light on the topics discussed. Rose
will be the moderator.
