MUMBAI:
TV content distributor Granada International has concluded
a development and distribution deal with UK independent producer
Zig Zag Productions.
Under
the deal, Granada International will have a development arrangement
with Zig Zag, giving them an option on the worldwide distribution
rights (excluding the UK and USA) to finished factual and
entertainment shows.
Zig
Zag will also work with Granada International in co-developing
formatted factual and entertainment shows for Granada International
to distribute in the international marketplace.
Granada
International head of formats Jennifer Harrington says, “Zig
Zag is one of the most creative producers in the UK today
and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to work with
them to bring their formats to the international stage.”
Zig
Zag Productions MD Danny Fenton says, “We are delighted
to be working with Granada International. The company brings
a massive scale to our business but also huge experience in
delivering formats globally. We are extremely proactive at
Zig Zag and have been looking for a similarly energetic finished
programme and format distributor which we can work with across
