MUMBAI:
English movie channel Sony PIX, in partnership with Ashok
Amritrajs Hyde Park Entertainment, will launch its new
reality show Gateway on 24 February.
Produced
by Face Entertainment, the 12-episode series is shot at Subhash
Ghais film school Whistling Woods.
The
show has assembled a team of guest judges who will feature
in every episode as a prominent jury member. Renowned directors
like Subhash Ghai, Karan Johar, Sanjay Gupta, R Balakrishnan,
Sanjay Gupta, Shriram Raghavan, Manish Acharya and many others
will take part in the show. The acting talent has been arranged
by Anupam Khers acting school, Talent Company.
The
channel has infused around Rs 60,00,000- 70,00,000 for the
campaigns which have hit the top six cities today. The six
cities include Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore
and Hyderabad.
While
Vodafone is the brand sponsor, Sony is the sponsor of the
technical equipments. Rediff.com has been roped in as the
online partner. The shortlisted films are available on www.gatweway.rediff.com.

ground-breaking reality show in search of Indias most
promising director who will make a dream debut in Hollywood.
With Ashok Amritrajs help and guidance, one gem of a
storyteller will get an opportunity to show his/her talent
to the world through PIX and Hyde Park Entertainment. The
shows format will put the contestants through a rigorous
exercise of tasks that will test their creative and filmmaking
abilities. Moreover, every episode of Gateway will
demystify the craft of movie making for PIX viewers.
Out
of the 18 contestants, the grand prize winner will win a Hollywood
directorial debut for a Hollywood film produced by Hyde Park
Entertainment. Besides Amritraj, the jury members comprise
Rajat Kapoor and Anurag Basu.
