Established
in 1999, ENIL launched its first radio station in the city

ENIL
(Radio Mirchi) COO Nandan Srinath said, "Radio's strength
is its immense flexibility, adaptability and suitability for
a modern and active life. Lots of towns in India today are
energy starved and with the launch of radio stations across
the country, radio is becoming a familiar sight. Additionally,
it is proving to be the best companion."
Radio Mirchi station head
Sunil Khowal said, "Jabalpur has a rich historical background and the people
have quiet a hectic cultural life throughout the year. The outstanding trait about
Jabalpur's cultural life is that it is remarkably cosmopolitan. Radio Mirchi in
Jabalpur, like all its other stations, will have localised programming content
with local content." |
