MUMBAI: European broadcaster Eurosport has announced an increase in the number of audiences for the 2008 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Eurosport Group chairman Laurent-Eric Le Lay says, "The Eurosport Group is a committed partner of the African Cup of Nations, having broadcast live all tournaments since 1994. We are delighted to see that our goal to continuously improve our coverage and bring exciting innovations to viewers has led to these record figures in 2008.
