MUMBAI: The Zee Network is launching its annual cricket tournament "The Zee Super Sixes Corporate Cricket Challenge" on 1 March. For this, Zee has roped in international cricketing legends to captain the corporate teams.

Zee Sports will telecast highlights of the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals on 16 March. Commentator and former cricketer, Charu Sharma will be the commentator throughout the tournament.

The winning team will be awarded a Rolling Gold Trophy and an exclusive, all-expense-paid trip to Sri Lanka to watch the India vs Sri Lanka match.

Zee Network CEO Pradeep Guha said, “Life in the corporate world seldom allows for engagement in leisurely pursuits and the latent sporting talents of innumerable professionals find no platform for expression. The Zee Super Sixes Challenge aims to present an outlet to those with a passion for cricket. Moreover, cricket as a game fosters team spirit, the most basic ingredient in the recipe for success in the corporate environment.”

The tournament will have 64 teams, each comprising six players. The 64 teams will be divided into four groups of 16 teams each. Twelve teams will qualify for the quarter-finals knock-out stage.
