MUMBAI:
News Corp CEO and chairman Rupert Murdoch has sold 500,000
shares of common stock for a sum of $10 million (around Rs
400 million).
Murdoch
has sold the non-voting News Corp shares for an average $19.91
per share.
Even
after the trade, Murdoch's grip on the global media empire
will not weaken as it is cemented through the family's 38.6
per cent voting stake in News Corp.
