MUMBAI: Toei Animation will debut new episodes of the popular animated series Master Hamsters at this year's Kidscreen Summit, taking place 13-15 February in New York.

The announcement was made by Toei Animation's director of international department Kanji Kazahaya.

Twenty-six half-hour episodes will be available for broadcast sale at the market.

After passing the Masters exam, the hamsters each received a Master Badge that transforms them into Master Hamsters, allowing them to speak human language.

With their professional skills, they solve problems of the humans, but once their job is finished there is nothing they love more than enjoying sunflower seeds. The series airs on Sundays on Japan's TV Asahi Network.

"We are thrilled to be offering new episodes of this fun, colourful animation series to our global broadcast partners at Kidscreen Summit," said Kazahaya.

"We are confident that the Master Hamsters' memorable characters and top-quality animation will attract a strong and loyal kid audience worldwide," Kazahaya added.
