Star Den announces core team

MUMBAI: Star Den, the recently formed distribution joint venture between Star India and Digital Entertainment Network, has firmed up its top brass team.

Headed by Gurjeev Singh Kapoor, Mohammed Mujeebuddin is the EVP of digital platforms and business development while Chandrashekar Shetty is SVP of sales and marketing.

Indiantelevision.com had earlier reported that Kapoor would be joining Star Den as CEO. He was heading Set Discovery.

Earlier, Mujeebuddin was heading the digital distribution business and broadcast partnerships at Star India. He has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, service, distribution and general management functions.

Prior to the new post, Shetty was heading western and eastern distribution and trade marketing in India at Star. He has over 15 years of experience in service and distribution.
