| MUMBAI:
Star Movies, the English movie channel, will be unveiling its new logo from 1
January. The
new logo will be rolled out across its network of services from South East Asia
and India/Pakistan to the Middle East and Taiwan.
 The
channel has also announced the lineup for upcoming months. January telecast includes
Oscar-nominated fantasy Enchanted on 2 January at 11 pm and the TV debut
of Nicolas Cage’s hit sequel, National Treasure: Book of Secrets on
31 January at 9 pm.
Also,
on Monday, 23 February, the channel will live telecast the 81st Annual Academy
Awards from 6.30 am. The
channel has also booked Monday-Thursday 11 pm movie slot in February as ‘Oscar
Fever’ wherein it will air Oscar-winning titles as Little Miss Sunshine,
Pulp Fiction, and Babel. Star Movies will also premier thriller Michael
Clayton starring George Clooney on 28 February at 9 pm. |
