MUMBAI: On the heels of the launch of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) Studios' 24/7 linear digital channel 'This', the studio has aggressively signed a number of affiliate agreements with station groups including Fisher Communications, Hearst-Argyle Television, Post-Newsweek Stations and Sinclair Broadcast Group. The agreements give This TV over 40 new station partners across the U.S. with launches slated for the next six months.

This announcement was made by MGM executive vice president broadcast strategy John Bryan, and executive vice president Weigel Broadcasting Neal Sabin.

'This', a collective effort between MGM and Chicago-based Weigel Broadcasting Company, is a turn-key solution for broadcasters looking for an economical way to serve more viewers, says MGM.
