Colors to beef up weekends with launch of two reality shows

MUMBAI: Viacom18's Hindi general entertainment channel (GEC) Colors is set to launch dance and comedy based reality shows to beef up its weekends.

From 12 December, Colors will launch a celebrity dance reality show Dancing Queen, where 10 television ladies will fight for the crown. The show, produced by SOL, will be aired at 10 pm every Friday-Saturday.

Also, the channel will launch Endemol India produced Chhote Miyaan, a laughter reality show, where kids will enact. The show will be premiered on 13 December and will be aired every Saturday at 9 pm.

Colors programming head Ashvini Yardi said, "Viewers will see a strong proposition of differentiated and distinctive content."

The channel also launched today two fiction-based daily shows - Uttaran and Jaane Kya Baat Hui - in the 10-11 pm slot.
