MUMBAI:
Christine Leo-McKerrow has resigned as BBC Worldwide Channels
Asia senior vice president, general manager.
During
her tenure, she oversaw the global launches of new BBC-branded
channels BBC Entertainment, BBC Knowledge, BBC Lifestyle and
CBeebies in Asia, including Singapore, India, Hong Kong and
Korea.
McKerrow
says, "Three years ago I set out to launch the BBC channels
portfolio in the region. After three intense and incredibly
rewarding years of launching five new channel brands and building
the foundations for the BBC channels business throughout Asia,
it is time to stop to take a well-earned break."
