Shaadi.com, Vodafone partners for mobile matrimony

MUMBAI: The matrimonial service provider Shaadi.com and Vodafone Essar ltd launched 'Shaadi.com on Vodafone'- a matrimonial service on Vodafone mobile phone.

 

Powered by Mauj Mobile, the tie-up will enable Vodafone customers to access Shaadi.com's matrimonial services on mobile phones through call, SMS and Vodafone live!

The recent move to go mobile by Shaadi.com comes close on the heels of the announcement of its service being available on Essel Group's direct-to-home (DTH) company Dish TV.

 

People Group CMD Anupam Mittal says, "With the alliance with Vodafone, Shaadi.com has created the concept of 'matrimony on the move', thereby making our matchmaking service accessible to millions of people. Earlier we had a presence on online, offline, DTH and now post this alliance with Vodafone; Shaadi.com will be available on the mobile platform as well, making us the only player providing 360 degrees matrimony services."

Vodafone Essar director - marketing and new business Harit Nagpal adds, "The 'Shaadi.com on Vodafone' is another important service to add value to our customers' lives."

Shaadi.com is a subsidiary of People Group. Other verticals of group are social networking and dating site Fropper.com, telecom solutions company Mauj.com, property site Makaan.com, astrology site Astrolife.com and wedding site ShaadiTimes.com.
