MUMBAI:
Sun TV Network’s private FM station SFM is launching
in Guwahati on 8 April. SFM is part of Sun TV’s subsidiary,
South Asia FM Ltd.
With
the launch of SFM in Guwahati, the total operational FM Stations
of Sun TV will go up to 29. Across India it already operates
in Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli, Visakhapatnam, Bangalore,
Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Tirupati, Madurai, Tuticorin,
Lucknow, Bhopal,Pondicherry, Kozhikode (Calicut), Indore,
Vijayawada, Varanasi, Tiruchy, Rajahmundry, Kanpur, Thiruvananthapuram,
Thrissur, Mangalore, Kannur, Allahabad, Jabalpur and Mysore.
The
company will launch 16 more stations, as it holds license
for 45 stations in the country.
