addition to the Avid Unity ISIS solution,
UTV has also opted for the AVID Interplay
(including Access and Assist), Avid iNews
and Avid NewsCutter. Avid’s solutions
will offer enhanced productivity and efficiency
for UTV through centralised management of
media and database resources, universal desktop
access to media, future-proof scalability
for increased media growth and reduced infrastructure
costs, by consolidating its Avid Unity ISIS
and Interplay in a single centralised location.
Avid
Technology country head Krishan Sanghi said, “UTV has been very specific

solution that incorporated cutting edge technology and is highly scalable to accommodate
the company’s future growth. Secondly, UTV required that its investment be
future proof, with the system capable of supporting multiple Standard Definition

UTV currently broadcasts four satellite
television channels; Bindass, Bindass movies,
UTV movies and World Movies. UTV is building
its network for UTVi around the Avid Unity
ISIS system.
