The book is Cyrus’ autobiography wherein she will share inspiring stories, spanning from her Southern roots in Tennessee to the excitement of her record-setting triumphs in TV, music and film.

The book, featuring photos, family stories, and a look at her inner circle of loved ones, will be published in early spring 2009.

She is a terrific role model, and we are incredibly proud to give kids everywhere the opportunity to connect with her in an entirely new way,” said Disney Book Group global publisher SVP Jeanne Mosure.

The book deal was negotiated by Jonathan Yaged, who is the vice president of North America publisher, Disney Book Group.

The book will be published under the Disney-Hyperion Books imprint.
