MUMBAI:
Amrita TV is planning to launch the edutainment reality show
Junior Genius, a blend of education and entertainment.
Junior
Genius is a hunt for young talents in the 12-14 age group
to showcase kids with a well-rounded personality.
The
show set in a magazine format, will have two segments, a 'Quiz
Session', and the 'Talent-Activity Session' comprising science
experiments, sports, artistic capabilities, social service,
adventure, etc.
The
show will evaluate various facets of contestants potential
in the arenas of IQ, GK, academics, sports, artistic talents,
social service et al.
Amrita
TV claims that Junior Genius will create an urge among
children to aspire for a harmonious blend of information,
education and contemporary learning in an entertainment format,
which will have a mix of shoots on sets and outdoors
Preliminary selection process is planned at Ernakulam, Calicut
and Trivandrum.
