Triveni’s Hindi news channel Voice of India soft launches

MUMBAI: Voice of India (VOI), the national Hindi news channel from Triveni Media Limited (TML), has started its test signals from today.

TML chairman and managing director Madhur Mittal said, “We are all geared up to launch Voice of India from Noida shortly. The test signal of VOI has been successful and our team is working overtime for the launch. VOI channels will be available on INSAT 4A.”

TML will also launch five regional news channels namely, VOI Bangla, VOI Gujarati, VOI UP, VOI Rajasthan and VOI Madhya Pradesh. It also has plans to launch a lifestyle luxury channel VOI Millionaire in English followed by a music channel.

To support the huge news operations, TML has invested in news-gathering resources for un-interrupted news flow across India through dedicated networks. These dedicated news networks will scout for news content from all corners of India.

TML is an upcoming news broadcasting company in India. It belongs to the $600 million Triveni Infrastructure and Development Company (TIDCO) which has interests in construction, real estate, automobiles and hospitality.
