MUMBAI: Nimbus Sports International announced an agreement with Fox Sports Australia to provide exclusive live coverage of the four Test matches to be played during Australia's upcoming tour of India in October 2008.

Fox Sports will cover all four Test matches of the series live. The first Test will be played in Bangalore from 9 October. The tour itinerary will then take the two sides to Mohali, Delhi and Nagpur.

Nimbus Sport International VP Thomas Klingebiel said, "We are delighted to extend our partnership with Fox Sports - Australia's leading sports TV network - to bring Australian viewers coverage of their favourite sport. We hope that cricket fans will enjoy an exciting and competitive series, and anticipate that this event will generate unprecedented audience interest both in Australia and beyond."

Fox Sports CEO David Malone said, "In securing the broadcast rights to this series, Fox Sports continues its long tradition of providing Australian viewers with the opportunity to watch the Australian cricket team on tour. Over the past 10 years, Fox Sports has been the only place to see the Australian cricket team compete overseas, other than in World Cups or The Ashes."

Nimbus acquired the global media rights to India's home matches from the Board of Control for Cricket in India in 2006 for the four year period until March 2010.

During this term, the Australian cricket team will tour India for the above Test series in October 2008, and once more for a seven ODI series in October 2009.
